IslenderBaby No. 2 is a mitten pattern for thumbless baby mittens. The stranded colorwork is inspired by traditional Nordic colorwork.
Size: Onesize 0-12 months, adjustable with gauge.
Gauge: 28 stitches over 10 cm.
For petite newborns you may use gauge 30 or 32 stitches per 10 cm, although 28 stitches per 10 cm will work well for all babies 0-12 months too.
Difficulty level: For colourwork, this is a fairly easy knitting pattern and suitable for colourwork beginners. The floats will be short and you will not need to lock them into place.
