Mamma's Owl Sweater is a knitting pattern for a ladies' jumper knitted from the top down, with owls in stranded colorwork along the yoke. 

The sweater is knitted with a folded neckband followed by short rows in the neck for improved fit.

The pattern gives instructions for both slim and wider-fit sleeves, and for a straight body as well as a body with waist shaping. 

The sweater length is on the shorter side (see measurements below), estimated for women and adults, but you can very easily add more length as it is knitted top-down - just add more yarn to the estimated amounts below.

Gauge: 14 x 20 stitches over 10 cm

Suggested Needle Sizes: 5.5 mm and 6.0 mm in double-pointed needles and a long and a short circular cable (unless you prefer Magic Loop), plus 6.5mm long circulars (80-100 cm).
