TurtleBaby is a knitting pattern for baby mittens with sea turtles and fish in stranded colorwork.
The mittens are knitted without thumbs to make them easier to put on tiny, wriggly baby hands.
Size: Onesize 0-12 months, adjustable with gauge.
Gauge: 28 stitches over 10 cm stranded colorwork.
For petite newborns you may use gauge 30 or 32 stitches per 10 cm, although 28 stitches per 10 cm will work well for all babies 0-12 months too.
