Rosa Polaris Sweater is a knitting pattern for a children's sweater inspired by traditional Nordic colourwork.

This sweater pattern is knitted top down with stranded colourwork across the round yoke, and with optional short rows in the neck for the three largest sizes.  

The colourwork matches the toddler mittens Rosa Polaris mini.

Sizes: 6-12 months (1-2 years) 3-4 years (5-6 years) 7-8 years (9-11 years)

Garment's chest circumference: 58 (65) 69 (74) 80 (86) cm

Gauge: 21 x 30 stitches per 10 cm

Suggested needle sizes: 3.5 mm, both double-pointed needles and 60 cm circulars, plus 4.0 mm circular needles 60/80 cm

Sandnes Double Sunday

Main colour: 4 (4) 5 (6) 8 (8) balls

Contrast colour: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball

The pink and white sample was knitted in Sandnes Double Sunday. The pink sample with darker pink colourwork was knitted in Sandnes Peer Gynt, colorways Lotus and Sienna.
