The Unicorn Cowl - English

Knitting pattern for a round yoke neck warmer for kids and adults, with a stranded colorwork unicorn and snow flake pattern. 

The Unicorn Cowl is just what the name suggests: A cowl with unicorns on it! This accessory is either knitted with three colours, or knitted with two before the third colour is added with duplicate stitches. Finally, the unicorn horns are embroidered: see YouTube tutorial.

Gauge: 22 stitches per 10 cm

Needle Sizes: The sample neck warmers were knitted using 4.0 mm circular needles for all but the final ribbing, which was knitted using 3.5 mm needles.

Yarn Suggestions:

You may use your favourite DK weight yarn that will give a firm ribbing, such as merino or other wools.

Dale Lanolin Wool or Sandnes Double Sunday

Main Color: 1 (1) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls

Contrast Color 1: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) balls
