Rosa Polaris Selbu Mittens - English

Knitting pattern for ladies mittens in ornamented Nordic colorwork.

Rosa Polaris is a modern take on traditional Norwegian Selbu mittens. The mittens can be knitted for ladies or older children, and features a floral design in stranded colorwork.

Sizes: Onesize chart adjustable with gauge (see below).

Gauge: Hand circumferences 17 / 19 / 20 / 22 cm using gauge 26 / 24 / 22 / 20 stitches over 10 cm.

Yarn suggestions: The sample mittens were knitted in Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt, colorways 4202 Lotus and 4253 Sienna.

You can use other DK weight or sport weight yarns, depending on the mitten size you want.
